The summit area of the Lauberberg is formed by large, weathered granite summit cliffs with strikingly large feldspar ledges. Viewed from the west, widely spaced, onion-layered exfoliation surfaces can be seen on the rock ensemble. Directly at the summit, a "Schalenstein" (bowl stone) forms a small water basin. In the summit area in the southern part of the Lauberge, large, weathered granite rock blocks and a striking granite rock face that drops steeply for more than 10 m emerge. To the south, a block stream of large granite "boulders" follows. Bavarian State Office for the Environment (LfU).
