A really lovely place to have a picnic, swim, kayak or paddle or take a gentle stroll around the lake. Lots of free parking and a few restaurants for refreshments. Very picturesque. Highly recommended for a stopover or for a pleasant circular walk across the lake, kayaking is also possible.
