The Oehe estate is one of the old aristocratic estates of Schleswig-Holstein and, when the mucus estuary was still further north, was on an island with Maasholm, the Oehe or Ø (Danish). King Christian IV is said to have held hunting parties here. In addition to the still active agriculture, the Gut Oehe now has holiday apartments, a campsite and a courtyard café.
