Hiking

From about 1850 onwards, the Prussians started planting spruces en masse at higher altitudes (from 400-450 metres). This one immediately catches your eye if you're new to the area and never heard of it before. A beautiful specimen that dominates the environment with its impressive and somewhat capricious shapes. Particularly photogenic and impressive.
