Hiking
Try a ride on the Abra to get from Bur Dubai to Deira. These unique water taxis are cheap (1 Dhs) and offer a wonderful view. Or come aboard a dhow and enjoy dinner while admiring the city at night.

Hiking
Dubai Creek is not all that superlative, as it is in the modern districts of Dubai. Here is the highlight of the old, Arab city with a lot of tradition and a vibrant, Arabian life. Old souks, the port for the so-called Dhows bring the goods from Iran and the predominantly Arab population make the districts Deira and Bur to the great, old Dubai which one would not have expected. Here you can experience the history of Dubai, which is more than 15 years old.
