The Vualt refuge is an old renovated dairy farm located in the Val Alba Nature Reserve, and which offers a splendid view of the valley from an altitude of 1168 metres. It is an unguarded refuge, but it is well equipped and looked after by foresters. It is perfect for a stopover and can be reached by bicycle via the forest track that goes up from Pradies. The last kilometers are dirt and there are steep and challenging ramps.
