Hiking
It is worth reading the many memorial plaques by the chapel. This kind of memory is rarely found in our homeland.
From here you also have a wonderful view of the Waxensteine and the entire Wetterstein area, including the Zugspitze. It is most beautiful and calmest in the evening at sunset, when the mountains on the opposite side are barely lit by the setting sun. In certain weather situations the mountains are colored reddish.
The ideal place to pause and let the day end.
