There is also a bunker from the Atlantic Wall to visit here. But you should be a bit sporty for the descent and ascent. Another serves as a bat roost.

The Waterleidingduins are open from sunrise to sunset.

The dune area is designed for the extraction of drinking water for the city of Amsterdam; Fifty million cubic meters of drinking water flows annually through this 3,400 hectare area. Water has been extracted since 1853, making it the oldest water extraction area in the Netherlands. It is operated by Waternet.
