A part of the Lessini territory constitutes the Lessinia Regional Natural Park. It borders to the north with the Val di Ronchi and the Carega Group, to the east with the Val Leogra, to the south with the Adige and the upper Veronese plain and to the west with the Val Lagarina. Its peaks reach an altitude between 1500 and 1800 m above sea level.

Embark on a moderate hike through the Lessinia Regional Natural Park, a 6.6-mile (10.5 km) loop that takes about 3 hours and 19 minutes to complete. You'll gain 1099 feet (335 metres) in elevation as you traverse a diverse landscape of pastures and woodlands. The trail offers panoramic views and sections of the Lessinia Forest feel like a fairy tale, filled with chirping birds and lush greenery. Expect varied terrain, from accessible paths to sections requiring more attention, including unpaved and gravel sections, as well as mountain hiking paths.
This loop tour requires good fitness and sure-footedness due to its varied surfaces. The Rifugio Podesteria serves as a convenient refreshment point along the way. In summer, you can reach the refuge by car, motorbike, or on foot, making access straightforward. During winter, the area transforms into a destination for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing on well-groomed trails.
As you hike, keep an eye out for wildlife such as deer, roe deer, chamois, and foxes; birdwatchers might spot golden eagles. The route immerses you in the bucolic world of pastures, complete with traditional malghe and the sound of bells. This popular trail is strategically located on the European path E7, showcasing the Lessinia area's natural wonders, including impressive karst formations and stunning waterfalls.
