Cycling
The Marienkapelle was the destination of many pilgrimages in the Middle Ages. A new nave was inaugurated in 1744. It was built according to plans by Balthasar Neumann. In 1866 the adjacent cemetery was the battlefield in the Austro-Prussian War. The Marienkapelle is a stop on the "Franconian Marienweg". Unfortunately it was locked.
