Cycling

This bridge near Pavia was bombed during World War II and later rebuilt. It is made up of five 45-metre arches and the Ticino River flows under it. It is also parallel to the famous Covered Bridge.

This bridge was erected between 1934 and 1936 to help the old bridge for the transit of the vehicles which crossed the way between Milan and Genova. It was repaired after the Second War, in 1947.

The Ponte della Libertà, also known as the Ponte dell'Impero (Imperial Bridge) until 1947, is a bridge over the River Ticino in Pavia, Italy. Opened to traffic in 1936, this bridge connects the north and south banks of the river at Pavia.
The bridge consists of five arches, each with a span of 45 meters. It is built of reinforced concrete and clad with gray granite from Baveno. Architecturally it belongs to Italian rationalism.
