Highly recommended! We often go for food or pick it up for home. Very good Bavarian cuisine and friendly staff. A large beer garden in the summer with a children's playground, sometimes with a grilled fish stand.
It's best to come by bike, as parking is limited and takes up little time. After dinner, perhaps take a leisurely stroll along the Würm River.

The historic inn "Zum Alten Wirt" is mentioned in a 1676 document stating that it had already been transferred to a new owner in 1417. This makes it the oldest inn in what is now Munich! The current appearance of the inn, which has survived the centuries virtually unchanged, was created in 1589/90.
