The Morellensee is a 1.8 hectare lake in Doberschütz.
Both in summer and in winter, the Morellensee is always worth a visit. Whether for a walk, a bike tour or simply to enjoy nature - the Morellensee offers numerous opportunities for leisure activities.
The lake was originally said to have been a horse trough. Its name is said to have been derived from that of a cherry variety from which there was supposed to have been a plantation near the lake tens of years ago.
