The Wandlitzer See (also known as Wandlitzsee) is a body of water north of Berlin that was formed during the Vistula Ice Age, on whose south and east banks the town of Wandlitz developed. It belongs to the landscape of the Wandlitz Lake District. The directly adjacent part of the municipality is still called Wandlitzsee by the residents (as is the corresponding train station).

Great beach, fantastic view of the lake, benches (unfortunately too few) – you'd love to be here and relax. However, it's not entirely quiet. It's very crowded. You can swim elsewhere. The water only gets deeper very gradually, so you have to go out quite far to even swim! – ideal for children, too.
