La Piedra de la Rosa is the result of a combination of processes that began when the lava flow cooled, forming this unique stone structure.
When the lava is solidifying, its mass contracts and cracks, so when the rocks are exposed to the elements, they tend to fracture, and sometimes adopt characteristic shapes.

View of a volcanic rock that resembles a rose and that leaves no one indifferent. To do this you have to walk a bit on a path that goes under the road. If you walk down from the small car park you also have direct access to "La Rosa". Very highly recommended.
