In the Neuteich Limbach-Oberfrohna, the Pfarrbach is dammed for the second time after the Schafteich in the Espichwald on the Tännigt.
In the 20th century, it was also called the Gondelteich because of a gondola station with a snack bar and beer garden located on the dam of the pond. This was abandoned in the 1990s and later converted into private property.
