The Luisenstraße in Herne-Horsthausen borders to the north u.a. to the property of the former administrative headquarters of the Friedrich the Great (FdG). The Friedrich the Great trade union was the builder of some of the city villas on this street, such as the director's villa for the FdG colliery in 1901 (Luisenstraße 28). The buildings with the house no. 22, 28, 30 are registered as monuments in the monument list of the city of Herne.
