The former water mill on the Borkener Aa is one of the last mills in Borken that has largely been preserved in its building fabric. In the 18th century it was the mill of the "Wandgilde". In the 19th century it was sold and rebuilt several times, most recently probably in 1927. In the meantime it has been used as a paper mill. Remarkable are the two identical buildings of residential house and mill building. The brick buildings with pantile-tiled half-hipped roof form a gateway to the courtyard.
