Hiking
The Plasveldweg climbs through a sunken road to the Kapelanenberg, named after a large forest that belonged to the chaplains of the St. Peter's Church in Leuven. This road is described in the tax book of the Sint-Geertrui abbey as 'the footpath from the quarry to Kiesegem'. In a deep depression on the left there used to be an iron sand quarry.
