The remote Thornton Lakes consists of three magical alpine lakes: Lower, Middle and Upper Thornton Lake that are surrounded by the beauty and peaks of the Northern Cascades. Enjoy the views towards Mount Triumph, the Picket Range and dramatic glaciers. If you like to stay overnight at Lower Thornton Lake, obtain a backcountry permit at the ranger station in Marblemount.
