The historic Alstom factory gate of the former RAW Stendal is an interesting destination for anyone interested in railway history. Located directly on popular cycling and walking paths, the striking factory gate offers a view of the traditional factory premises, where locomotives have been repaired and modernized since 1873. With a bit of luck, you might even see modern or historic rail vehicles on the premises – a worthwhile stop on a tour through Stendal.
