Pandora in front of the VR-Bank in Markgröningen, 2012-2013, by Karl-Henning Seemann: The ancient theme of Pandora was chosen by the artist twice for a bronze figure erected in public space: once in Hilden from 1995 to 1998 as a counterpart to the "Hurry Shopper," and the second time more than 20 years later in front of the VR-Bank in Markgröningen. Here, her box is just opening—the gift from the gods as a symbol of the greatest happiness and the greatest risk.
