The deck is lovely and also a great spot for swimming. Next to the bridge there is also a restaurant with a terrace, the perfect place to enjoy a drink in the shade or in the sun, depending on your preference!

Ancient stone bridge over the Lima stream just below the town of Popiglio on the Pistoia mountains.
The bridge was built between the end of 1200 and the beginning of 1300 by the then lord of Lucca Castruccio Castracani.
At the foot of the bridge, two buildings which still exist today and are currently the site of a farmhouse served as "customs" to control the traffic of goods from the territory of Pistoia and Lucca.
