Hiking
Borgo Stretto (or simply Borgo as the Pisans call it), is one of the busiest streets in the city.
It is the historic center of Pisa where most of the tourist and city life takes place.
With its architecture, its arcades and its shops we understand the historical dimension of this city.
Narrow and enriched by arcades and buildings of the fourteenth and fifteenth centuries, it overflows with shops and leads from Piazza Garibaldi to via Oberdan (or Borgo Largo) when the arcades end.

Hiking
Crossing Ponte di Mezzo, after the square you enter Borgo Stretto, a small pedestrian street in the center of Pisa where there are ice cream parlors, bars, shops and clubs.
If you are in Pisa for tourism, walk along it taking an ice cream and observing the shops under the arcades. Or go shopping.
