Gravel riding
The sculpture group is modeled in size and posture after that of Ramses in the temple of Abu Simbel. The Moai also served as inspiration.
In the original design by Svend Wiig Hansen from 1954, the sculpture was to be erected on the headland Grenen near Skagen.
