Hiking

Trees in this canyon provide a shaded sanctuary for birds and people. The loop trail leads around it, and connects to the Mount Hollywood trails. Picnic areas and restroom with drinking water fountains make this a good place for a break.

Hiking

Down at the bottom of bird sanctuary loop (or start), there's a restroom and water fountain. The water fountain was a lifesaver when I was doing the 11 Peak tour hike.
