Allegedly, a holiday guest named Phillipp in the hotel Katzenstein in Bad Sachsa the area with the great view here at the refuge so much that he had set up the viewing pavilion on the Katzenstein at his own expense and called him "Phillipsgruß", as a reference to the city of Sachsa and the resin he loved so much.
