Claimed to be Europe's smallest castle, Hermit's Castle definitely owns the claim to be one of the most unusual. Built in the 1950s by David Scott, who after completion, spent only a weekend in it.
The building is perched high above and close to the edge of a small inlet.

Not too tricky to find. Once through the campsite and onto the promontory there are a few faint paths, however its best to just wonder along and it will soon come into view.
