«Apprezzami l'Asino» is the path that until the beginning of the last century was considered the only path that connected Sapri to Maratea, an important road for trade and the exchange of goods, which, as a children's book shows, was done on donkeys were transported.
According to the legend, if two donkeys came towards each other, the donkey that had loaded the inferior goods had to give way. But that also meant that a donkey was pushed into the sea 😳.
