As the PCT crosses Forest road 23N19 and goes for another gradual switchback, for hikers in a hurry the road leads down directly to Big Creek Road near the PCT trailhead. Big Creek Road is a good option to hitch a ride with tourists or trail angels for resupply in Bucks Lake or Quincy.
