Cycling
The Vering Canal, built between 1894 and 1897, used to be an important traffic route for Wilhelmsburg's industry. A lock connects the canal with the Reiherstieg harbor. Since the 1990s, however, only pleasure boats have been sailing here. The lock was extensively renovated in 2007.
