🏔️ View of the Alps from Mrzli vrh
The second summit of the round (1358 m) has a panorama board with the names of the mountains at the top. Directly opposite, beyond the Soča, stands the Krn group (2244 m), to its left, Kanin and the long ridge of Kobariški Stol stretch northwards. Behind them, Mangart and the western Julian Alps line up, and in clear visibility, Triglav can be seen. Deep below lie Kobarid and the wide Soča Valley with the ossuary on the hill. Slovenian guides rate the view here hardly worse than from Matajur itself.
