"First mention of church life in Frankenstein in the 13th century, construction of the castle with the castle chapel still visible today. 1722 (probably) first church built on the current site. 1871/72 Construction of the current sandstone church." Batik triptych by artist Ilse Benninger [from 1976, behind the altar]: Sun, ears of corn and grapes represent creation and the Last Supper. 2015 Installation of the first art glass window 'Perspectives for Peace' (= so-called 'Peace Window'.
