Located about two hundred meters high, at the southern end of the Serra Gelada Natural Park, the Cross of Benidorm is one of the best viewpoints from which to look out over this cosmopolitan city whose skyscrapers are among the tallest in Europe and the one that is often said to "never sleep"

The cross is a monumental cross that is located in the Sierra Helada. It was placed on the top of the Sierra Helada in the mid-twentieth century, in 1961, on a Catholic mission to rid the city of its reputation as a sinner. With the passage of time it has grown from an evangelical symbol into a monumental tourist icon from where you have a beautiful view over Benidorm. In 1975 a storm made it fly and it was replaced by a new one. It is visible from much of the city.
