Once here, you have reached the highest point of the Vulkanradwegs. That means: No matter from which direction you come, from now on it is only downhill. To celebrate the day, you can treat yourself to a long break in the Gasthaus "Tor zum Vogelsberg", which conveniently pampers hungry cyclists at this point.

Nice place with friendly staff for a stopover.
Just having a drink is no problem if you are just passing through.
Tip: On the way to the ceramics department the motion detector was broken, so a headlamp can work wonders :-)
