The half-timbered church was rebuilt in 1833/34. The predecessor from the 13th century had fallen into disrepair. The beautifully painted pulpit, the altar rails (1674-1704), and the bell from the year 1466 come from the old church. The altarpiece (Christ on the Cross) was donated in 1828 by the von Knuth family.
The harmonium was donated by Duke Friedrich Franz III. of Mecklenburg-Schwerin.
There are a few graves in the small churchyard.
