a rather inconspicuous path meanders here in the Achada, that's what the washed-out gorges are called on Madeira. Small rivulets shoot out of the rocks everywhere, washing out the lava rock. It is gurgling and bubbling everywhere. An almost impassable path that is probably only used by locals.
