This building is an example of an old mosque on which a Catholic church was built outside the city walls in 1240. Hiking

The Iglesia de los Santos Juanes in Valencia dates back to the 13th century in its core and was built on the remains of an old mosque. After several fires and renovations, it presents itself today as an exciting mix of a Gothic basic structure and magnificent Baroque on the inside. The church is primarily famous for its impressive ceiling frescoes and its central location directly opposite the famous Silk Exchange.
