Thanks to this bridge, you can cross the Cowan stream without getting your feet wet. The Ruisseau de Cowan is a tributary of the Ourthe, along which a Ravel winds on the old local line towards Houffalize.

This Ardennes stream rises in the village of Rachamps, north of the municipality of Bastogne. It then passes between the hamlets of Cowan and Vissoule before supplying the old mill of Neupré. The valley of the stream becomes steeper and continues in the Blancs Bois, which is mainly composed of spruce, until the confluence with the eastern Ourthe upstream of Houffalize and at an altitude of 335 m. The creek flows for a length of about 8 kilometres.
