When planning your hike on this loop, be aware that certain sections of the Rapid River Ridge Trail can remain snow-covered well into the summer, sometimes until late June or even July. If you prefer an earlier season adventure, the Rapid River Trail often clears of snow sooner, making it a good option for spring.
