The chapel stands outside the village in an exposed location in the gently rising landscape between Rangendingen and Hirrlingen, framed by two natural monuments: two large, old linden trees. According to tradition, built in 1732, the simply designed chapel has always been an unbroken point of attraction for devout supplicants, as evidenced by numerous current devotional items.
