The path is now, in September 2023, very overgrown and can still be walked quite well. Some boards are rotten and broken. In places, however, the path has already been repaired.

The path now bears a "NO TRESPASSING" sign (June 2025), erected by the Western Pomerania Office for Agriculture and the Environment. It would be highly desirable if some money were invested here in the near future to officially reopen the only connection through the moor toward Tribsees!
