The Nature panorama – Pine Creek loop offers breathtaking views of the Pine Creek Gorge, often dubbed the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon, from its eastern rim. This easy 3.0-mile (4.8 km) hiking route winds through lush forests, providing continuous panoramic vistas of the deep canyon and its steep walls. With only 860 feet (262 metres) of elevation gain, it's a rewarding journey that takes approximately 1 hour and 38 minutes, perfect for a leisurely outing.

Starting from Leonard Harrison State Park, the trail is known for its easily accessible paths, making it a great option for almost anyone. Parking is available directly at the state park. While no specific warnings about permits or seasonal closures are noted for this particular loop, it's always a good idea to check park conditions, especially during peak times, to ensure a smooth visit.

This trail is a highlight within Leonard Harrison State Park, which is recognized as both a National Natural Landmark and a Pennsylvania State Natural Area. While this loop offers an easy experience, the park also provides access to more challenging trails, like the Turkey Path, which descends to the 62-mile Pine Creek Rail Trail at the canyon floor, offering options for longer adventures.
