When I visited, it was just the venue for the Suigo Itako Ayame Festival.
Many kinds of irises (irises) were planted in the garden, and it was just the best time to see them.
During the Iris Festival period, there are events unique to the water town, such as the "Yomeiribune" (Itako Hanayome-san), a reenactment of weddings that used to be a regular event in this area, the "Ayame Odori," and the hand-rowed "Robune Sightseeing." event is being held.
If I have a chance next time, I would like to ride on the Robune Sightseeing.
