Hiking
Old Louet is a former branch of the Loire that is now half-filled. It was dug during the Middle Ages to develop fishing and fish farming. Some fishermen still catch salmon, shad, eel, pike or perch there.

Partially filled-in old arm of the Loire. In the Middle Ages, fishing and fish farming were practiced there on a large scale. The Vieux-Louet was therefore dug and widened to form a pond attracting the best fish of the Loire: salmon, shad, eels, pike, perch.
