The villages of "Port La Roche" and "Fresne" are located at the crossroads of the Loire Atlantique and Vendée in the heart of the Marais Breton. The water from the swamp circulates between the various sluices that regulate the water between seasons, helping to protect the fauna and flora in the middle of the soft swamps and salt marshes.
