Hiking

Thanks to the natural development, this nature reserve in Oostvoorne has established many plant species such as sea aster, milkweed, salt marsh grass, salt marsh and salty spurge. Many small animals live in the mudflats and form an important source of food for oystercatcher, sandpiper, curlew and redshank. The Slikken van Voorne lie west of Oostvoorne and are part of the Voordelta, an important marine reserve off the coast of South Holland and Zeeland.
