The Ponte della Becca was built between 1910 and 1912, and crosses the point where the Ticino and Po rivers meet.
During the Second World War, in 1944, the bridge suffered significant damage due to bombing, but the damaged parts were later restored and the bridge was reopened to traffic in 1950. From the bridge you can enjoy very pleasant views.

Hiking
The bridge is extremely dangerous for pedestrians/hikers. It is a narrow bridge with two lanes where cars drive fast and there is no way to avoid it, not even an inch. If a bus or truck passes by, you can only hope that they don't run you over. Stay away if possible!
