At this point there is a wonderful panorama of the Tre Cime. If you climb up the Rienza valley to get here, you'll glimpse the famous peaks many times on the way up, but the view here is splendid. It seems like they are so close. You also have a great vantage point over the valley. It's a nice place to stop and sit on the grass to relax. If you're going down, it's the last perfect view of the Three Peaks.
The terrain along the valley is quite steep and technical, but running is definitely possible.
