Cinisi: a Sicilian treasure to discover by bicycle
Cycling through the streets of Cinisi, you will immerse yourself in a vortex of history, culture and nature that will leave its mark. The historic center, with its winding alleys and ancient houses, will tell you stories of pirates, Normans and the legendary Peppino Impastato.
But Cinisi is not just history. Its uncontaminated territory offers breathtaking landscapes that follow one after the other: from the Zingaro Nature Reserve, with its turquoise coves and fragrant Mediterranean scrub, to the golden countryside dotted with olive and almond trees.

Cinisi is a village symbolic of Peppino Impastato's anti-mafia fight. A museum in town is dedicated to him. This piece of history is mentioned in the very good film “Les cent pas” by Marco Tullio Giordana.
